Mini Moth – Hand-Cut Wooden Puzzle
Paul photographed this moth with the same patience and precision he brings to every subject. 14–15 tiny pieces, packaged in a resealable bag. A surprising and delightful little gift.
The image was photographed by Paul Shepard — Jenell's grandfather and a self-taught photographer in his 80s who mastered the art of focus stacking, compositing dozens of individual shots taken at different focal points into a single image with extraordinary depth and detail. He even set up a full photography studio in his off-grid log cabin to pursue it. Every puzzle in Paul's collection is a collaboration across three generations: Paul photographs, Marni and Jenell cut.
